Function requirements:
- Circuit 15R ON
Function
Wiper operation is suppressed, if
- the combination switch (S4) is in position "I" and
- the driver or front passenger door is open and
- the speed is below 5 km/h
A wipe that is already in progress is not interrupted by opening the driver or front passenger door. The wipe continues until the park position is reached.
The wiper is operated after actuation has been suppressed if:
- a drive mode is selected at the electronic selector lever module control unit (N15/5) or
- the speed is higher than 8 km/h or
- the combination switch (S4) if moved from position "I" to another position or
- the ignition is switched off an on again.
