MODEL 210 up to 30.6.99 with CODE (290) Window airbag 

MODEL 210 up to 30.6.99 with CODE (293) Left and right rear side airbags 

MODEL 210 as of 1.6.98 up to 30.6.99 with CODE (491) USA version 

MODEL 210 as of 1.6.98 up to 30.6.99 with CODE (498) Japanese version

  Side airbag sensors, location   GF91.60-P-4009-01B 
  Side airbag sensors, purpose In the event of a side collision the side airbag sensors (A53/1 and A54/1)  sense the deceleration/acceleration effecting the vehicle in the lateral direction and start a plausibility check in the airbag control module (N2/7)  . If the values are plausible an actuation signal is transmitted to the associated side airbags/window airbags.
