Air distribution switch, function - GF83.25-P-2101-01I
Function
The air distribution switch is combined with the AUTO button (
). The air distribution can be set manually or automatically:
- Manual (automatic button not pressed)
- Turn ring around automatic button
- Indicated by red dot of light and white printed notch
- Automatic (automatic button pressed)
- Display indicated by light "AUTO" symbol in display
The various actuator motors can be controlled via the A/C bus and electronic stepping motor circuitry for distribution of the air by turning the air distribution switch on the automatic A/C pushbutton control module.
The following basic air distribution settings are available and are indicated by the LED's arranged in a circular pattern:
Air outlet at center, side and door nozzles
Air outlet at center, side and door, footwell and defroster nozzles
Air outlet at center, side, door and defroster nozzles
In addition to the four basic settings listed above 8 intermediate settings can also be selected, which are also indicated by the LED's.
