Self-monitoring function - GF86.10-P-2002MB
MODEL 220.175 /178 with CODE (Z04) Light armoring with CODE (Z07) Top protection with fire extinguishing system
Each time the ignition is switched on the functional availability of the fire extinguishing system is checked by the fire extinguishing system control module (N100).
The following statuses are monitored:
- Supply lines to engine fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65) and rear fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65/1).
- Supply lines to extinguishing agent canister 1 and 2 ignition squibs (R42 and R42/1).
- Pressure in extinguishing agent canister using extinguishing agent canister 1 and 2 pressure monitoring switch (S62/27 and S62/28).
If the extinguishing system is working properly, the function illumination in the activation and triggering button in the fire extinguishing system manual triggering switch illuminates (S62/23) for 10 sec. when the ignition is switched on and then goes off.
If a fault was detected in the fire extinguishing system, the fire extinguishing system warning buzzer goes off for 10 sec. (H13) and the function illumination in the fire extinguishing system manual triggering switch activate button (S62/23) is continuously on (this alarm is repeated each time the ignition is switched on until the fault is remedied).
