	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of injury  to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing hydraulic fluid.	Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A

1	Open engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000M
2	Raise vehicle.
3.1	Detach middle and rear part of lower engine compartment paneling	Vehicles with gasoline engines	AR61.20-P-1105M
3.2	Remove middle and rear part of bottom section of sound-proofing capsules	Vehicles with diesel engines	AR94.30-P-5300M
4	Remove underfloor paneling behind the left front wheel
5	Relieve the residual pressure in the ABC [Active Body Control] system by loosening the union nut of the hydraulic line (5) on the pressure supply valve unit (52)	The engine must be shut off for at least 5 minutes. Open the union nut carefully so that the hydraulic fluid can flow out slowly. Collect hydraulic fluid that flows out.
6	Loosen bolt (1) and twist hose clamp (2) through 90°
7	Unscrew bolts (3) and remove heat shield (4)
8	Detach and remove hydraulic line (5) from pressure supply valve unit (52) and distributor unit of front axle/rear axle (6)	Union nut, line to pressure supply valve unit	*BA32.50-P-1012-01A

9	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
