The vehicle is lowered or raised depending on the vehicle speed and setting on the level control switch (N72/1s2). There are 4 vehicle level stage options:
- Vehicle level normal
- Vehicle level lowered (only automatically)
- Vehicle level raised, stage 1 (only manually)
- Vehicle level raised, stage 2 (only manually)
The switch position operated by the driver remains stored even after "ignition OFF" until it is changed again manually.
Level control switch (N72/1s2) not operated
- Engine running
- The vehicle is at normal level A (-4 mm)
- Between 60 km/h and 140 km/h-continuous automatic lowering of vehicle level to lowered level B (-15 mm).
- Between 140 km/h and 60 km/h-continuous resetting to normal level A (-4 mm).
Level control switch (N72/1s2) operated in stage 1
- Engine running
- The vehicle is at raised level, stage 1 C (+ 10 mm)
- Between 60 km/h and 160 km/h-continuous automatic lowering of vehicle level to lowered level A (-4 mm).
- Between 160 km/h and 60 km/h-continuous resetting to raised level, stage 1 C (+ 10 mm).
Level control switch (N72/1s2) operated in stage 2
- Engine running
- The vehicle is at raised level, stage 2 D (+ 20 mm)
- Between 0 km/h and 60 km/h-continuous automatic lowering of vehicle level to raised level, stage 1 C (+ 10 mm)
- Between 60 km/h and 160 km/h-continuous automatic lowering of vehicle level to lowered level A (-4 mm).
- Between 160 km/h and 60 km/h-continuous resetting to raised level, stage 1 C (+ 10 mm).
- Between 60 km/h and 0 km/h-continuous resetting to raised level, stage 2 D (+ 20 mm).
