1	Remove key from electronic ignition switch control unit	Vehicles with Keyless-Go Code 889: press Start/Stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off.
2	Open engine hood		AR88.40-P-1000M
3	Remove left engine intake air duct upstream of the air filter housing
4	Remove left side of air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1150LA
5	Pump hydraulic fluid out of Active Body Control expansion reservoir (1a) and power steering pump expansion reservoir (1b)	Hand pump	Figure
6	Detach hose (2b) from power steering pump expansion reservoir (1b)	Immediately seal the connections with stop plugs.

8	Pry clip (8) of electric feed line to intake port shutoff off bracket (1c)

10	Unclip electrical connector (5) of traction system hydraulic unit (A7/3) and put down electrical feed line to one side
11	Lift out bracket (1c) with Active Body Control expansion reservoir (1a) and power steering pump expansion reservoir (1b)
12	Detach hose (2a) from Active Body Control expansion reservoir (1a)	Immediately seal the connections with stop plugs. Hose clamp pliers, see GOTIS http://gotis.aftersales.daimlerchrysler.com

13	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running.
