Battery discharges, vehicle can no longer be started - AF32.50-P-6400A

MODEL 215.### #A up to 004585, 220.### #A up to 110219 with CODE (487) Active body control (ABC)

32 654 54 The ABC control unit remains active after locking the vehicle. IMPORTANT Quiescent current measurement immediately after locking the vehicle: ↓  
  IMPORTANT This can occur when the ABC control unit receives a pulse after a shut-off delay time of 60 s by locking the vehicle.
I.e. the customer locks his vehicle only after 60 s or later.
1 Shut off vehicle, close doors and immediately lock with infrared remote control for central locking (RCL).  
    2 Check quiescent current consumption.
IMPORTANT If quiescent current consumption is higher than approx. 50 mA, proceed as described in AR54.10-P-1030I

    IMPORTANT If quiescent current consumption is less than approx. 50 mA.↓  
    IMPORTANT Quiescent current measurement approx. 120 s after locking: ↓
3 Shut off vehicle, close doors and lock only after approx. 120 s with RCL.
 
    4 Test quiescent current. AR54.10-P-1030I
    IMPORTANT If quiescent current is approx. 350 mA: ↓  
    5 Remove/install/replace ABC control unit.
IMPORTANT Before installing check whether status Q9 or higher is printed on the white rating plate.

    IMPORTANT Calibrate plunger sensors according to menu point stored in DAS.  
    6 Calibrate vehicle level. AR40.20-P-0301I
    7 Test quiescent current. AR54.10-P-1030I
