	Remove/Install
	Risk of death  cased by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Turn key in ignition switch to position "0".	Vehicles with Keyless-Go Code 889: press repeatedly Start/Stop button, until ignition is switched off.
2.1	Remove left, downstream section of underbody trim panel (1).	Model 240 only	AR61.30-P-1001H
3	Disconnect electrical connector (2) at cylinder head (M3)
4	Disconnect electrical connector at fuel pressure sensor (B4/7)
5	Disconnect electrical connector (3) of supply lead at fuel pump control unit (N118)
6	Clip off jack (3a) from bracket (4)	Press locking device (arrow) with screwdriver toward top and pull off jack (3a) in direction of travel of bracket (4).
7	Undo nuts (5) and remove fuel pump control unit (N118)
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Read out fault memory	Stored faults which may be caused by disconnecting cables or by simulation during test operations, must be erased in the fault memory after completing the work.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
