	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.	Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.	AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant coolant. into beverage containers. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS20.00-Z-0001-01A
1	Bring engine to operating temperature (approx. 80°C)	Check the cylinder for leaks only when the engine is at normal operating temperature.
2	Switch off ignition
3	Unscrew cap (2) on expansion reservoir (1)
4	Remove oil filler cap (3)
5	Remove spark plugs	See: Replace spark plugs

		Model 216, 221	AP15.10-P-1580SZ
6	Position piston of cylinder to be checked at top dead center using top dead center selector	Crank engine at crankshaft center bolt in direction of rotation of engine.

7	Connect cylinder leakage testing unit (04)	Calibrate testing unit and screw connection hose into spark plug hole.

	Checking
8	Pressurize cylinder with compressed air and read off pressure loss on cylinder leakage testing unit (04)		*BE01.00-P-1001-02Z
			*BE01.00-P-1002-02Z  *BE01.00-P-1003-02Z
		If the crankshaft rotates: ↓ Install retaining lock for crankshaft.
		Model 215, 220, 230	AR03.30-P-5000B
		Model 216, 221	AR03.30-P-5000SZ
9	Check other cylinders in firing order of the engine		AR01.00-P-1300-03HA
10	Install in the reverse order
