Deactivating anti-theft alarm (ATA), function - GF80.50-P-2003GH

MODEL 163 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) 

The anti-theft alarm (ATA)  is activated by:

In both cases the all-activity module (AAM) (N10)  deactivates all alarm inputs. The ATA status indicator (E33)  in the center console comes on for 10 s and then goes out.

Vehicles with Interior protection system  and anti-towing sensor (AS)  : The AAM sends a command to deactivate the interior protection system and anti-towing sensor to the trip computer control module (N41)  .

IMPORTANT Deactivation of the ATA leads to termination of any alarm triggered previously.
