Displays of remaining distance, remaining time or extent to which a service is exceeded, when stationary or while driving at driver's request:
- Wake instrument cluster.
- Starter switch in position "2" or when driving.
- Press reset button for trip odometer twice within 1 s:
The current remaining distance, the current remaining time or the current extent to which a service is exceeded.
Display of oil level at driver's request:
- After the starter switch is in position "2" wait for 10 s until the text "DISPLAY OIL LEVEL" and the oil can symbol appears.
- Press reset button for trip odometer twice within 1 s: The message "OIL LEVEL OK" or the current missing oil quantity appears.
If a correct oil level measurement is not possible, the text "Maintain WAITING TIME" appears.
Resetting ASSYST after oil change (oil change reset) on instrument cluster:
- Move starter switch to position "2".
- Within the first 4 seconds after starter switch is in position "2": Press reset button for trip odometer twice within a second. The display for the service request is activated for 10 s.
- Move the starter switch into position "0" within this 10 s
The service request will continue to be displayed.
- Press reset button for trip odometer and keep pressed .
- Move starter switch to position "2".
- Continue keeping the reset button for trip odometer pressed (approx. 10 s), until the signal tone sounds and the new starting distance appears on the display.
