	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.	Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.	AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Unplug left front ABS rpm sensor connector (X62/26) or right front ABS rpm sensor connector (X62/27).	The connectors are fitted at the left and right in the engine compartment on the wheel well paneling.
2	Raise vehicle with vehicle lift
	Lift/jack up vehicle		AR00.60-P-1000G
3	Remove electric feed line of rpm sensor from all the holders	Installation:  Route electric feed line free of tension and any scuffing.
4	Remove bolt (1)		*BA42.30-P-1001-01B
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
5	Remove left front rpm sensor (L6/1) or right front rpm sensor (L6/2)	Installation:  Check measuring ring of drive shaft for signs of damage, replace if necessary:↓
		Remove/install ABS measuring ring.	AR42.30-P-0160GH
6	Apply light coating of grease to mounting hole in steering knuckle	ABS sensor grease	*BR00.45-Z-1019-06A
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Read out and erase fault memory
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
