	Remove/Install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

1	Remove center and rear bottom part of noise encapsulation	Installation:  Install bottom parts of noise encapsulation only after engine test run.	AR94.30-P-5300T
2	Remove cross strut (35)
3	Unscrew nuts (13a) from the tapping plate (13b)	Check the rubber mount (13c) of the bracket for wear. Replace if necessary.

4	Support front exhaust system (112) with transmission jack and transmission platform	Transmission plate	*WE58.40-Z-1018-11A
		Telescoping transmission lifter 0.5 -1.0t	*WE58.40-Z-1030-11A
5	Dismount screw clamp (22) between catalytic converter or catalytic converter diesel particulate filter unit (111) and front exhaust system (112)
6	Detach the rear muffler (113) from the exhaust rubber mounts (9/1, 9/2)	Check exhaust rubber mounts (9/1, 9/2) for damage, replace if required. Coat exhaust rubber mount if required with liquid lubricant.

7	Lift out exhaust system	Rotate the exhaust system 45° around the longitudinal axis. 8 Install in the reverse order
9	Inspect installation position and clearance of exhaust system	The exhaust system must be mounted free of tension, align exhaust system if required.
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near engine	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. 10	Conduct engine test run and inspect exhaust system for leaks
