	Remove/install
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1	Remove the left cover in the engine compartment	Vehicles as of 06/06
2	Remove cover (1) of the fuse and relay box (F1)	Installation:  Check rubber seal in cover (1) and replace if necessary. The cover (1) must seat in the rear of the groove.
3	Unlock and unplug electrical plug-in couplings (2, 3).
4	Unlock the catches (4) and remove ESP control unit (N47-5) upwards.
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Read out diagnostic trouble code memory using STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary	STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
