The left front door control module (N69/1) is connected with passenger compartment CAN bus for exchanging data.

Purpose in combination with air conditioning system

The driver-side front door control module (N69/1) senses the window position of the driver's door and stores this information on the passenger compartment CAN bus.

The AC pushbutton control module (N22) or comfort AC pushbutton control module (N22/7) reads in the signal for the position of the driver's window to obtain a better control quality.

Recirculated air convenience closing, purpose

The convenience closing function is activated by pressing the recirculated air button (N22s2 or N22/7s2) for longer than 1.5 s. The left front door control module (N69/1) stores the momentary window position and then closes the window in the one-touch up mode when it is open.

When the convenience closing function is terminated by pressing the recirculated air switch (N22s2 or N22/7s2) for longer than 1.5 s, the window is moved back to the stored position.
