Step 2

	Remove/Install
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1.1	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and cache the base data from the SAM control unit (front passenger side) (N10/11) in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When installing new passenger-side SAM control unit (N10/11).
		Installation:  Transfer staged basic data to the new passenger-side SAM control unit (N10/11).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Fold back floor covering (1) in passenger footwell
3	Remove damping material (2) upwards off the footrest (3)
4	Unscrew nuts (4)
5	Remove footrest (3) and put down in front passenger footwell
6	Separate the electrical connectors (5)	The electrical connector (5) leading circuit 30 must be disconnected first and contacted last.
7	Unscrew screws (6) and remove the passenger-side SAM control unit (N10/11)
8	Install in the reverse order
