Important repair information
Screws/bolts with locking splines, microencapsulated screws/bolts and self-locking nuts are to be replaced after being used once. In addition, the screws/bolts are always to be replaced for threaded connections with self-locking nuts.
When loosening microencapsulated screws/bolts, there is a greater risk of injury due to the sudden breakaway torque.
Before new microencapsulated screws/bolts are screwed in, the mating thread must be recut in order to remove all remains of the old thread locking material.
No greases, oils, waxes or other lubricants may be introduced into or applied on the threaded connections and their contact surfaces. Otherwise the preload forces no longer correspond to the specifications.
Threaded connections located in the splash zone are to be preserved with spray wax after
tightening.
