Remove rear longitudinal member section - AR64.20-P-1260-01CW

- Expose MIG soldered seams and spot welds on rear longitudinal member (1) and rear locking lug (2) (areas A, B, C, D and E).
- Separate MIG soldered seams on rear longitudinal member (1) (area D).
- Cut out spot welds using
spot weld milling cutter or ball cutter (areas A, B, C and E).
Cut through two panel thicknesses (area B).

- Expose MIG soldered seams and spot welds on rear longitudinal member (1) and rear locking lug (2) (areas F, G, H, I, J and K).
- Separate MIG soldered seams on rear longitudinal member (1) (area H).
- Cut out spot welds using
spot weld milling cutter or ball cuter (areas F, G, J and K).
Cut out spot weld from inside (area G). Cut through two sheet metal layers (area K).
- Remove damaged rear longitudinal member (1) with rear locking lug (2).

- Grind mating surfaces on body down to bate metal in cross-hatched areas with shank brush.
Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides. Completely remove remaining MIG soldered seams.
- Remove sanding dust using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
