Install and weld in wheel well - AR62.20-P-1200-17CW

IMPORTANT The following operation steps are shown on model 204.0.

  1. Install front wheel well (1) and end plate (2), fit and fix in place with straightening tool.

    IMPORTANT Push new part below remaining piece on body (arrows) when replacing left wheel well.

  2. Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes on front wheel well (1) and end plate (2) (areas A, B, C and D).

  3. Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes on front wheel well (1) (areas E, F, G and H).

  4. Install crossmember (3), fit and fix in place.
  5. Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes in inner area of main floor and on crossmember (3) (areas I, J, K, M, N and O).
  6. Remove front wheel well (1), end plate (2) and crossmember (3).
  7. Deburr rivet holes on both sides
  8. Coat insides of those riveted joints that will not also be bonded with zinc dust paint.

    IMPORTANT Perform following operation step 9 only on model 207, 212 and 218.

  9. Apply 2-component adhesive in crosshatched area (area GH).

  10. Install front wheel well (1) and end plate (2), fit and fix in place.
  11. Apply 2-component adhesive in cross-hatched area (area X).

    NOTES Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint to prevent adhesion problems (area X).

    IMPORTANT Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

    IMPORTANT Refer to the manufacturer's information for the curing and working times of 2-component adhesive.

  12. Install crossmember (3), fit and fix in place.
  13. Rivet crossmember (3) with Ø 6.5 x12.5 mm rivets (areas P, Q, R and T).
  14. Crossmember (3) POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (area N).
  15. Crossmember (3) SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD (area S).

  16. Rivet front wheel well (1) with Ø 6.5 x14.5 mm rivets (areas V, W, X, Y, Z and AA).

  17. Rivet front wheel well (1) with Ø 6.5 x14.5 mm rivets (areas AB, AC, AD and AE).
  18. Front wheel well (1) and end plate (2) POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas AF, AG, AH, AI and AJ).
