| Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries | No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. |

| 3 | Unplug fuses | ||

| 4 | Unscrew bolt (2) | ||
| 5 | Remove interior fuse box (F34) | ||
| 6 | Remove insulating strip (3) | ||
| 7 | Unscrew nut (4) | ||
| 8 | Disconnect terminal 30 cable from interior fuse box (F34) | ||
| 9 | Release female contacts and pull out of interior fuse box (F34) | ||

| Disconnect cables from control modules and fuse and relay boxes | AR54.18-P-1261-01QA | ||
| 10 | Unclip fuse base (detachable) (6) from interior fuse box (F34) | ||
| Disconnect cables from control modules and fuse and relay boxes | AR54.18-P-1261-01QA | ||
| 11 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 12 | Perform basic programming | AR00.19-P-0200Q | |
| 13 | Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase | ||
| 14 | Check for proper function |
