Damage code	Cause	Remedy
82 023 38	Due to incorrect assembly, the spring for the slide can be located outside the guide (fig. A).	In the event of this complaint it is not permissible to replace the aero wiper blade and/or wiper arm!
	The aero wiper blade on the driver and/or passenger side is not properly positioned against the windshield in the middle and therefore does not wipe cleanly at this point.	1 Install spring on slide correctly (see fig. B).
		Assembly can be facilitated and is more reliable when additional pressure is exerted from above on the slide and spring. Aero wiper blade on model 203:  Production breakpoint with modification year 2003/1 (since approx. 01.06.2003). This complaint should no longer occur on these vehicles. In the event of any individual complaints, reinstall spring correctly. Aero wiper blade on model 209:  Used as of start of production. Use of optimized slide and spring phased into production since approx. 01.06.2003.
