REPAIR MATERIALS

  1. Expose spot welds and cut out with spot weld cutter (areas A, B, C, E and F).

  2. Expose spot welds and cut out with spot weld cutter (areas B, D, G, H, I, J, K and L).
  3. Heat up rear fender in shaded area with hot air gun.

    IMPORTANT Shaded areas are foamed and glued.

  4. Remove rear fender.

  5. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Sand spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides
  6. Remove grinding and drilling chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  7. Coat insides of spot welding flanges and rivet connection with zinc dust paint.

  8. Grind connection surfaces down to bare metal in shaded areas. Sand spot weld flanges to bare metal on both sides
  9. Remove grinding and drilling chips with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  10. Coat insides of spot welding flanges and rivet connection with zinc dust paint.
