- Fasten CD player with changer (inside the trunk) (A2/6) with 4 screws M4x6 (21) right and left on bracket of CD changer (1).
- Branch off standard wiring harness (23) inside trunk on left wheelhouse by approx.300 mm and expose black, 3-pin coupling (24) (voltage supply, CD changer).
Black, 3-pin coupling (24) is tied back on the standard wiring harness (23) near the left wheelhouse recess or directly on the left wheelhouse with felt masking tape.
- Route the untied standard wiring harness (23) according to the picture below and fasten with felt masking tape.
Ensure wiring harness is routed correctly and free of chafing points.
- Install the bracket for sound and TV (6) with sound amplifier (A2/13) and TV tuner (A2/42) again inside left wheelhouse recess and fasten with the nuts (16,17).
Bracket for sound and TV (6) is later fastened together with bracket, CD changer (1) with the screws M5 x 14 (2) on the left longitudinal member.
Do not buckle or extend fiber optical cable, routing radii must be greater than 25 mm!
- Insert D2B coupling (14) and black, 3-pin coupling (24) (voltage supply) into the CD player with changer (inside trunk) (A2/6).
- Mount the bracket, CD changer (1) and CD player with changer (inside trunk) (A2/6) with nut on threaded bolt (3) and M5 x 14 screws (2, 4) over bracket, sound and TV (6).
Bracket, CD changer (1) is locked with catch (25) in bracket for sound and TV (6) and fastened together with bracket for sound and TV (6) on the longitudinal member with the screws M5 x 14 (2).
Do not buckle or extend fiber optical cable, routing radii must be greater than 25 mm!
