- Insert power supply wiring harness (1) into right wiring duct and route to range of right rear seat.
- Route tie-outs to rear of vehicle (antenna and connection lead for overhead control panel) (a) in area of rear seat upward to rear shelf or in trunk along existing wiring harnesses.
- Connect brown (br) lead from power supply wiring harness (1) to ground (right inner door sill) (W28/2).
- Insert power supply wiring harness (1) in existing wiring ducts to center console. Position tie-outs (1/1, 1/2) on drive shaft tunnel.
- Insert power supply wiring harness (1) in existing wiring ducts to driver's footwell (b).
- Solder blue/black (bl/sw) lead from power supply wiring harness (1) to blue/black (bl/sw) lead on end sleeve (Z35/10) of wake-up signal with solder connector.
- Route power supply wiring harness (1) in direction of engine compartment (b) to left fuse box along existing wiring harnesses.
- Route power supply wiring harness (ws/ ge) in left front fuse box (F1) to fuse location (F1-f18) and install fuse carrier housing on left front fuse and relay module (K40/6).
- Contact tie-out for power supply wiring harness (lead (rt/sw)) on fuse and relay module in rear (K40/5) to fuse location for fuse (F4-f63).
The lead for the microphone of the hands-free system is preequipped in the wiring harness to the overhead operating unit.
- Pull out connector for overhead operating unit and FSS connector (X25/8) below rear shelf and disconnect.
- Connect black (sw) lead of tie-out from power supply wiring harness to pin 1.
- Connect white (ws) lead of tie-out from power supply wiring harness to pin 15.
- Route antenna cable into rear of vehicle (a) along existing leads and clip into lead fastener (6).
