Function prerequisites 

• No overvoltage or undervoltage
• Circuit ON or
• Circuit 15 ON and
• The overhead control panel control module (N70) recognizes the neutral position before switch is activated (switch not actuated for longer than 40 ms)

Function 

The sliding roof is opened by pressing the SR switch (N70s1) towards the rear. The overhead control panel control module (N70) reads in the status of the switch and actuates the SR motor (M12m1) as long as the switch is pressed, however, for a maximum of only 50 s (max. activation time).

When the maximum activation time is exceeded reactuation is only possible if the overhead control panel control module (N70) recognizes the non-actuated state of the SR switch (N70s1).

Aborting the function 

If the overhead control panel control module (N70) detects a lock-up,  the "Open sliding roof" function is aborted.

When desynchronized, the "Open sliding roof" function is restricted, actuation of the SR motor (M12m1) is only possible briefly for max. 1 s. The SR switch (N70s1) must then be released and actuated again.
