	Remove/Install
	Risk of injury. Injuries may result when performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag unit with deployment face up, do not subject to temperatures above 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A

1	Withdraw ignition key
2	Remove/install door liner on front door		AR72.10-P-1000N
3	Remove sound deadening mat (2) above the CL line (3) and the electrical lines
4	Unplug the connector from driver/passenger side airbag squib (R12/9; R12/10)
5	Disconnect CL line (3)
6	Disconnect left; right (X1/6; X1/7) in-door speaker connector
7	Open CL line (3) and electrical line tie straps	Installation: Replace tie strap
8	Unclip protective tube (4) from front door (1)
9	Pull the CL line (3), together with the electrical lines from the front door (1) via the cable duct (5)
10	Unscrew bolts (7) from multi-joint hinge (6)	Secure the door with the assistance of a second person, avoid damaging the paint	*BA72.10-P-1001-01E

11	Remove the front door (1) to the rear and lay down	Do not damage paintwork
	When replacing a door, carry out seam sealing and cavity preservation
12	Install in the reverse order	Following installation, check joint dimensions throughout	Figure
		Joint dimensions on hoods, doors and covers	*BE60.00-P-1002-01A
		If applicable, adjust front door	AR72.10-P-0550N
