Unscrew brake line from brake hose (39) and seal openings |
Seal line connections immediately with
plugs. The brake fluid expansion reservoir must not be allowed to run completely empty.
Installation:
The brake hose (39) must not be twisted after tightening (risk of cracking).
When slackening and tightening the brake line at the brake hose (39), make sure that its bracket does not turn. Use an open-end wrench as a countersupport on the sides of the brake hose fitting. |

With repair kit installed:
Do not turn the repair bolt. When loosening and tightening the repair nut always hold the repair bolt in place, as the alignment studs for adjusting the caster will be sheared off if the bolt moves.
Installation:
Note installation position if repair bolts have already been installed. Install repair bolts and washers in the same position again.
Installation:
Do not tighten nuts until vehicle is ready to roll. |
