Hydraulic line (pressure line) from separation point to rack-and-pinion steering

	Remove/Install
	Risk of injury  to skin or eyes caused by hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing hydraulic fluid.	Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.	AS00.00-Z-0013-01A
	Risk of death  cased by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Before opening the hydraulic system the area surrounding the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the hydraulic system

2	Suction off oil from expansion reservoir of power steering pump	Hand pump	Figure
3	Raise vehicle with lifting platform
4	Remove engine compartment paneling	Installation:  Only after function test and leak test is complete.	AR61.20-P-1105M
5	Unscrew bolt (3) of bracket of pressure line (1) to oil pan		*BA46.30-P-1015-01C
6	Loosen union nut (4) and separate pressure line (1)	Seal line connections with plugs.

7	Unscrew nuts (2) of rubber mounts of pressure line (1) to retaining plate
8	Remove rack-and-pinion steering		AR46.20-P-0600M
9	Take out pressure line (1) downwards
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Fill power steering pump and bleed		AR46.30-P-0010N
12	Check power steering for proper operation and hydraulic line connections for leaks
