Interlinkage of components with convenience opening/closing via infrared signal 

Function requirements:

• Voltage not too high or too low.
• All door closed (status: locked).
• The ignition key is removed "C. 15C OFF".
• "Lock" button of remote control key (A8/1) is pressed for longer than 1 s and is held.

Function 

The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives the request for convenience closing over CAN and actuates the roof system motor (M12m1) in the "close sliding roof" direction.

The roof system motor (M12m1) is actuated as long as the "Lock" button on the remote control key (A8/1) is pressed.

The convenience closing function of the sliding/pop-up roof is interrupted when the request is no longer received via the passenger compartment CAN bus (CAN-B) or the function prerequisites below are no longer fulfilled.

The convenience closing function also closes the windows.
