Removal & Installation

NOTE: Do not tilt tandem master brake cylinder, pull it straight out towards the front, otherwise thrust rod is forced out of its axial position and may break away from retaining lugs on master control unit.
  1. For removal and installation, see Fig 1 .
  2. Torque nuts and bolts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Bleed hydraulic system and check system for fluid leaks. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  and TESTING FOR LEAKS USING PRESSURE GAUGE  under TESTING.
