Removal & Installation
NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove brake hoses. DO NOT let brake caliper hang from brake hose. Use wire to suspend brake caliper so there is no tension on brake hose.
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels.
- Remove brake caliper. See SLK32 AMG or SLK230 & SLK320 under BRAKE CALIPER (FRONT) or SLK32 AMG or SLK230 & SLK320 under BRAKE CALIPER (REAR)
- Remove brake disc-to-hub screw(s). See Fig 1 .
- Remove brake disc. Release parking brake on rear brake disc.
- Installation is the reverse of removal. Torque nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Adjust parking brake. See PARKING BRAKE under ADJUSTMENTS.
