SLK2320 & SLK320

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels.
  2. NOTE: Seal off line connections immediately with plugs. Brake fluid reservoir must not be allowed to empty.
  3. Remove brake hose (51) at brake line (5) and then at brake caliper (31). See Fig 1 .
  4. Disconnect brake pad wear indicator sensor.
  5. Remove brake caliper bolts (35) and remove brake caliper from wheel carrier.
  6. Installation is the reverse of removal. Install new micro-encapsulated bolts (31a). Torque nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Bleed hydraulic brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
