4	Checked signal or status	For vehicles with SBC the information: request for idle speed increase, variant coding, engaged gear range and the signal from the brake light switch is replaced. This communication is monitored.

5		If the SBC control unit recognizes an undervoltage it will send the request for idle speed increase to the engine control unit via the CAN. The idle speed will then be increased for the engaged drive position to about 750 RPM. This stabilizes the vehicle electrical system voltage which is necessary to ensure safe Sensotronic Brake Control mode. Also read out the SBC control unit fault memory.
