Overhead control panel control module, purpose - GF82.20-P-4101-02R

The overhead control panel control module (N70)  has the following purpose:

• Control of dimming functions  of the inside rearview mirror (A67)  and the outside rearview mirror 
• Control of interior lighting 
• Reading in integrated switches and sensors: 
  • In-car temperature sensor (N70b1), front dome lamp (N70e1),
  • door contact ON and OFF switch (N70s3),
  • interior lamp ON and OFF switch (N70s4),
  • left front reading lamp switch (N70s6),
  • right front reading lamp switch (N70s7),
  • Vario roof "closed" limit switch (right lug) (S69/1)
• Reading in sensors: 
  • Rain sensor (B38)
  • Automatic light switch daylight sensor (B32/1)
  • Reading in radio signal for central locking
• Reading in and actuating components for inside rearview mirror (A67) 
• Actuation of integrated front dome lamp (N70e1), left reading lamp (A67/e1)  and right reading lamp (A67e2) 
• Power supply for left front vanity mirror illumination (E14/6) 
• Power supply for right front vanity mirror illumination (E14/7) 

The overhead control panel control module (N70)  is connected with the passenger compartment CAN bus  for exchanging data.
