Removal & Installation

  1. Remove mounting nut (1) from front cover. See Fig 1 .
  2. Slide front cover (1) with insert lugs (2) toward front out of knee guard (3) and remove downward out of guide (arrow), over accelerator pedal.
  3. Unclip footwell illumination lamp from knee guard and disconnect connector.
  4. Remove screws (4).
  5. Push knee guard with hooks (5) toward rear, out of instrument panel and simultaneously out of center console.
  6. Installation is reverse of removal procedure. Insert cover in guide (arrow) on accelerator pedal. Ensure that side guide lug for knee guard is inserted properly in area of center console (arrow).
