Remove/install fire extinguishing system temperature sensor - AR86.10-P-0102MBB

MODEL 220.1 /8 up to 14.4.04 with CODE (Z04) Light armoring with CODE (Z07) Top protection with fire extinguishing system, rear fire extinguishing system temperature sensor

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/Install     
NOTES Danger of actuating fire extinguishing system when the work sequence is not observed.    
1 Ignition Off, detach transmitter key from the electronic ignition switch control unit    
2 Remove fuses no. 54 and no. 58 from rear fuse and relay module IMPORTANT The rear fuse and relay module is located below the right rear seat See ↓  
REFER TO BASIC KNOWLEDGE   Fuse assignment of rear fuse and relay box GF54.15-P-1256-01MB
DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
3 Raise vehicle. NOTES Do not damage extinguishing agent lines on fire extinguishing system when jacking up vehicle.  
4 Disconnect rear fire extinguishing system temperature sensor connector (B65/1x1) NOTESInstallation:  Ensure that the rear fire extinguishing system temperature sensor connector (B65/1x1) is free of moisture and dirt. The insulating tubing of the connection line should be seated correctly in the connector housing; if necessary, fasten insulating tubing Danger of erroneous actuation.  
5 Loosen bolt (1) and remove bracket (2) NOTESInstallation:  Ensure that the line of the rear fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65/1) is routed without chafing (arrow).  
6 Unscrew counternut and remove rear fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65/1) IMPORTANTInstallation:  Ensure that the marking (red dot) on the rear fire extinguishing system temperature sensor (B65/1) points downward after installation  
7 Install in the reverse order    
8 Perform self-test for fire extinguishing system   AR86.10-P-0101-01MB
