Remove/install extinguishing agent tank - AR86.10-P-0100MB

MODEL 220.1 /8 with CODE (Z04) Light armoring with CODE (Z07) Top protection with fire extinguishing system

IMPORTANT Notes for extinguishing agent tank pressure monitor switch   AH86.10-P-0001-03A 
1 Switch off ignition, detach transmitter key from electronic ignition switch control unit    
2 Remove fuses no. 54 and no. 58 in rear fuse and relay module IMPORTANT The rear fuse and relay module is located below the right rear seat. See: ↓  
REFER TO BASIC KNOWLEDGE   Fuse assignment of rear fuse and relay box GF54.15-P-1256-01MB
3 Remove paneling from extinguishing agent tank (1).   AR86.10-P-0103MB 
4 Disconnect electric lead from squib (7). NOTES To avoid triggering the fire extinguishing system ensure that, as first operation step, the electrical line is disconnected from the squib (7) when removing the extinguishing agent tank (1).  
5 Disconnect fire extinguishing tank 1 pressure monitor connector (S62/27x1) and fire extinguishing tank 2 pressure monitor connector (S62/28x1) NOTES Do not remove extinguishing agent tank pressure monitoring switch 1 (S62/27) or extinguishing agent tank pressure monitoring switch 2 (S62/28) from extinguishing agent tank (1), otherwise the extinguishing agent tank (1) can be drained.  
6 Unscrew union nuts (6) and remove extinguishing agent tubing (5)    
7 Loosen clamps (2) and remove extinguishing agent tank (1).    
8 Check weight of extinguishing agent tank (1). NOTES Always check weight before installing to prevent installing any extinguishing agent tank (1) with insufficient quantity of extinguishing agent.  
    IMPORTANT Each extinguishing agent tank (1) should have an additional weight of 60 g as indicated. If the gross weight is less than 50 g, replace extinguishing agent tank (1). An approximately 5 mm long indicator (3) is visible and can be felt on the front of the connector (4) when the extinguishing agent tank (1) is empty. If the extinguishing agent tank (1) is replaced, dispose of old unit properly. Refer to: ↓

9 Install in the reverse order    
10 Perform self-test for fire extinguishing system   AR86.10-P-0101-01MB
