Attaching rear screen to center console - AN82.60-P-0002-01A

- Print out drilling template (1) for hole pattern of center console and enlarge to scale.
The illustration shows the hole pattern of the right side of the center console, the rear of the template is for the left side of the center console.
- Mask over center console (2) with adhesive tape in the rear area.
Avoid damage to the center console by working with care.
- Position drilling template (1) flush with the bottom edge on the right side of the console and fix position of locating hole (F) (arrow) with a screw in the mounting hole of the console.
- Mark hole pattern of the mounting holes (B) and of the cable leadthrough (K).
- Open the oddments tray of the center console (2) for drilling the holes.
Do not drill into mechanism of oddments trays (arrow)!
- Drill holes (B) with Ø 6.5 mm.
- Work out cable leadthrough (K).
- Route connection cables through the cable leadthroughs on the right and left at the center console.
- Insert the assembly screws (13) from the inside of the center console (2) through the side cheeks (12) of the attachment arm (11).
- When installing the side cheeks (12), the connection cable must be inserted into the slot (arrow) in the attachment arm (11).
After installing, check clearance of connection cables on the right and left.
- Insert covers (14) on right and left and run the connection cables through the locating plates of the covers (14) (arrow).
- Swivel attachment arm (11) down.
Sockets of connection cables must still move freely (arrow) below the cover (14).
- Insert center console (2) into vehicle.
- Fit together the two sockets of the intermediate connector of the rear display system (X66) and pull on the existing foam grommets.
Do not damage any wiring harnesses when installing the center console.
