Low Pressure Testing

  1. Turn off engine and pump brake pedal until vacuum is reduced.
  2. Turn back brake pedal locking device until a line pressure of approximately 44 psi (3 bar) overpressure is still indicated on pressure gauge. Observe ptrssure gauge for 2 minutes, the line pressure must not fall throughout duration of test.
  3. Disconnect pressure tester.
  4. If brake system passes pressure test, bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
  5. If brake system does not pass Pressure test, check complete system for fluid leaks.
