Bleeding Brake System: Notes

WARNING: Wash hands after handling brake fluid. If brake fluid comes into contact with eyes, flush eyes with cold running water. If irritation persists seek medical attention.
CAUTION: Avoid spilling brake fluid onto painted surfaces, electrical connections, wiring, or cables. Brake fluid will damage painted surfaces and cause corrosion to electrical components. If any brake fluid comes in contact with painted surfaces, immediately flush area with water. If any brake fluid comes in contact with electrical connections, wiring, or cables, use a clean shop cloth to wipe away fluid.
NOTE: Manufacturer recommends using pressure bleeding equipment. Ensure fluid level in master cylinder reservoir is adequate at all times during bleeding procedure. If air enters brake system, perform bleeding procedure from beginning. Use only DOT 4 brake fluid. DO NOT use DOT 5 silicone fluid.
