ETS diagnosis troubleshooting - AD42.35-P-5001A

MODEL 163 with CODE (212a) electronic traction system (ETS)

Troubleshooting       
Complaint  Cause  Note  Remedy 
ETS MIL (A1 e35) or ABS MIL (A1 e17) illuminate with engine running     Read out fault memory, HHT
ETS MIL (A1e35) or ABS MIL (A1e17) comes on while driving and does not go out again     Read out fault memory, HHT
Low brake fluid level/parking brake indicator lamp (A1e7) comes on while driving and does not go out again.
There is also an audible warning sound
Fault in electronic brake force distribution   Read out fault memory, HHT
ETS MIL (A1 e49) and ABS MIL (A1 e17) come on while driving and go out again On-board voltage <11V, too many electrical consumers in operation   Test generator (G2), read out fault memory, HHT
Brake pad wear indicator lamp (A1e6), low brake fluid level/parking brake indicator lamp (A1e7), ETS warning lamp (A1e36), ABS MIL (A1e17), or ETS MIL (A1e35) not illuminated when ignition switched on CAN data bus   Read out instrument cluster fault memory, HHT AD42.35-P-6000-03A 
ABS MIL (A1e17) illuminated with engine running after brake test stand or roller dynamometer Implausible speed signal due to different speeds at front and rear axle   Read out and erase fault memory, HHT
ETS MIL (A1e35) comes on while driving and goes out again after some time (Fault C 15 12 is stored) Rear wheel brake was temporarily overloaded   Read out and erase fault memory, HHT
