Check drag link end as well as steering arm and pitman arm - AP46.40-P-4650-02G
Inspect the track link and pitman arm to ensure that they are undamaged and attached correctly.
- Have a second person turn steering wheel at short intervals alternately to left and right while gripping ball heads (1) and levers (2) of drag link and tie rod between thumb and index finger.
There should not be any play between the ball heads (1) and levers (2). If there is play, replace the ball head (1) concerned or the complete drag link and tie rod against a separate repair order.
