Remove/install telecommunications control unit - AR82.70-P-7000GR

	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts	Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.	AS00.00-Z-0017-01A
1	Remove center console	Except model 463.246/249/	AR68.20-P-2000GA
		On model 463.246/249	AR68.20-P-2000US
2	Disconnect fiber optic cable connector (A) at telephone transmitter/receiver (A35)
3	Cover fiber optic cable		AR82.95-P-0005-01A
	Notes on fiber optic cable		AH82.70-P-0001-02A
4	Disconnect connector (B) at telephone transmitter/receiver (A35)	Press plug together and pull off carefully.
5	Detach console for control unit (1) from center tunnel	Remove two bolts and one nut.
6	Remove telephone transmitter/receiver (A35)	Unscrew two screws on the underside of the console for control unit (1).
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Read out fault memory and erase	STAR DIAGNOSIS Stored faults which can result from cables being disconnected or from simulation during removal and installation or test work, have to be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
9	Carry out function check
