Removal & Installation

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels.
    2. NOTE: Seal off connection immediately with plugs to prevent brake fluid reservoir from running empty.
  2. Remove brake hoses. See BRAKE HOSES  .
  3. Remove brake caliper bolts from brake caliper support.
  4. Remove brake caliper.
  5. Installation is the reverse of removal. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  . Check brake system for leaks using pressure gauge. See TESTING FOR LEAKS USING PRESSURE GAUGE  under TESTING.
