| 1 | Turn key in ignition switch to position "0". | ||
| 2 | Remove air filter housing (1). | AR09.10-P-1150TS | |
| 3 | Remove the electrical connector (2) at the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) | ||
| 4 | Disengage the right notch (3a) of the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) at the resonance intake manifold (4) | ||
| 5 | Unlatch left notch (3b) for hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) on resonance intake manifold (4) and tilt hot film MAF sensor (B2/5) slightly to the rear | ||
| 6 | Disengage spring steel sheet (5) and remove the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) from air duct housing (6) | ||
| Checking | |||
| 7 | Check the gasket (7) between the air duct housing (6) and the hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) | ||
| 8 | Check right notch (3a), left notch (3b) as well as spring steel sheet (5) | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order | ||

| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | AD00.00-P-2000-04A |
