Remove/install charge air temperature sensor - AR09.41-P-2002P

	Remove/Install
1.1	Remove trim panel for cylinder head cover and for charge air distribution pipe	Only for Engine 648.960/961	AR01.20-P-5014-02C
		Bolt, cylinder head cover trim panel at cylinder head	*BA01.20-P-1002-01G
		Bolt, trim panel to charge air distribution pipe	*BA01.20-P-1003-01G
2	Detach the electrical connector (1) of the charge air temperature sensor (B17/8)	The electrical connector (1) secures simultaneously the snap-in brackets of the charge air temperature sensor (B17/8).
3	Unlatch the charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) at the mount	Press the snap-in brackets; do not latch or unlatch the charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) with the plug (1) attached, otherwise the snap-in brackets will overstretch. Completely replace the charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) with the defective snap-in brackets. Installation:  Fit a new sealing ring.
4	Take out the charge air temperature sensor (B17/8)
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Read out fault memory and erase	Stored faults which may be caused by removal, test work, removed lines or a simulation, must be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
