Separate upper front longitudinal member - AR62.20-P-1286-01P

IMPORTANT Work procedure shown on model 203.0.

  1. Mark separation point (area A).
  2. Cut separation point with body saw (area A).
  3. Expose spot welds (areas B and C).
  4. Cut spot welds out with SPECIAL TOOL spot weld milling cutter (areas B and C).

  5. Remove top front longitudinal member.
  6. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in the cross-hatched areas.

    IMPORTANT Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.

  7. Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.
