Install and weld in longitudinal member front section - AR62.20-P-1260-07P

IMPORTANT Work procedure shown on model 203.0.

  1. Install longitudinal member front section, fasten to straightening tool and fasten with clamping pliers.
  2. Fit longitudinal member front section to vehicle

    IMPORTANT Allow new part to overlap approx. 2 cm.

  3. Separate longitudinal member front section and longitudinal member in overlap area with body saw
  4. Remove remaining pieces from longitudinal member front section and longitudinal member.
  5. Weld in longitudinal member front section with SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area D).
  6. Clean inert gas weld with wire brush.
  7. Grind down flat inert gas weld in area of connection surface/longitudinal member cover
  8. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  9. Coat inert gas weld and inner adjacent surfaces with zinc dust paint.
