- Install rear longitudinal member section (1) and rear locking lug (2), fit with straightening tool and fix in place using clamping pliers.
Observe setup plans. Use spacer for straightening tool.
- Drill rivet holes on rear longitudinal member section (1) and rear locking lug (2) with Ø 6.7 mm bit (areas A, B, C and D).Fig 1: Identifying Rivet Holes On Rear Longitudinal Member Section And Locking Lug (Areas A, B, C And D)

- Remove rear longitudinal member section (1) and rear end part (2).
- Deburr rivet holes on rear longitudinal member section (1) and rear end part (2) on both sides.
- Remove drilling shavings with wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
- Coat insides of rivet connections with zinc dust paint suitable for spot welding.
- Install rear longitudinal member section (1) and rear locking lug (2), fit with straightening tool and fix in place using clamping pliers and manual temporary fasteners.
Use spacers of straightening tool (see set-up plan).

- Remove manual temporary fasteners.
- Rivet rear longitudinal member section (1) with steel/steel blind rivet, Ø 6.5X12.5 (areas G, H, O and P).
